If we told you supermodel, supermom, and superhuman, Christie Brinkley, was 64, would you believe us? For Christie, the key to eating a healthy, balanced diet is all about colors. She told Shape.com that the main concept in her diet is to, “go for as many colors as possible in a day.”
The sunshine blonde star has been a vegetarian for 12 years, as well as her parents and her brother. She told Health.com that, “I am a vegetarian but an aspiring vegan, I like to say. I try not to eat too much animal product. My diet is mainly fresh fruit and vegetables, grains, and beans.”
She enjoys cycling classes like SoulCycle and Flywheel and enjoys riding her bike on beaches and trails nearby. Brinkley believes in being as kind as possible to your body and exercising to feel good and look good. She said, “Feeling good is looking good, and that can translate to an energy you exude.” She’s a huge fan of avocado toast, raw oatmeal, brown rice with lentils, and sweet potato.
“Attitude plays a huge part in how you feel,” said Christie. “Nothing looks better on you than happiness, and that’s in your own hands,” the model says. We truly believe that too.
