Chipotle is kicking off the new year by offering plant-based chorizo and new lifestyle bowl options!
This plant-based chorizo was tested in select locations in August of 2021. Now, after months of testing, Chipotle is finally offering their new vegan meat alternative in many US locations for a limited time.
The chorizo is marketed as being grown on a farm rather than in a lab, as well as being made with real and nutritious ingredients for a fulfilling experience.

Chipotle is also offering three new lifestyle bowls for customers to choose from in 2022: the Whole30Ⓡ Salad Bowl, Vegetarian Bowl, and Vegan Bowl, all featuring the new plant-based chorizo as the main protein.
Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer, said, “We are thrilled to introduce guests to our new, flavor-packed Plant-Based Chorizo during a season when healthier options are top of mind. Plant-Based Chorizo is our best chorizo ever and proves that you don’t have to sacrifice flavor to enjoy a vegan or vegetarian protein.”
Chipotle will also be offering free delivery for orders featuring the vegan chorizo from January 3rd through January 9th. Lifestyle bowl deliveries will also be free from January 3rd through January 31st.
