When many people hear the phrase “raw food,” they might picture a couple of carrot sticks and a few spinach leaves on a measly platter. But, we here at One Green Planet see raw food so much differently. Preparing raw food is a chance to get creative and think about each ingredient as an individual plant with dozens of transformative possibilities.
Aside from the aesthetics, making raw dishes can actually be pretty easy. You might be surprised by how many recipes call for chopping up ingredients, then putting them into a blender as the only step. There are also intricate raw cakes and other desserts you can try if you have more time. Thanks to some awesome bloggers, we can all learn more about how to prepare raw food and find recipes that can transform our own eating into a healthier, more enjoyable experience. Here are some raw, vegan bloggers to follow.
