Happy (almost) Father’s Day everyone! We thought it would be nice to put together a little menu for everyone to make for their families that is healthy, filling, and super flavorful! Just choose one salad, one marsala entree, one potato side-dish, and one tiramisu for a fancy and impressive meal! Starter – Salad
This Chioggia Beet Arugula and Quinoa Salad by Genevieve Yam is bright, filling, and so flavorful! Arugula, beets, quinoa, and pomegranates are tossed in olive oil and pomegranate syrup dressing for a light and fruity taste.
If Dad is hard to impress, make this super fancy Fava Salad With Agretti Shiso Dressing by Alena Grahn! Nestled inside of a ring of sliced cucumbers, you’ll find plump agretti leaves, bright green fava beans, and sun-dried tomatoes.
Entree – Marsala
This Cauliflower Marsala by Nicole McTaggart is a real show-stopper! The marsala wine definitely shines with the help of thyme and mushrooms. This meal looks like one you’d get at a fancy restaurant, but it’s actually super easy to make!
Just look at how meaty and delicious this Tempeh Marsala by Bianca Scartabello looks! Tender cubes of tempeh and sliced mushrooms are simmered in a flavorful and creamy marsala wine sauce, making for a hearty meal that is sure to satisfy everyone’s appetite.
Side – Potatoes
These Creamy Scalloped Potatoes With Thyme by Lisa Lotts are cheesy, rich, and perfect for a party! Homey and comforting, this dish is made by layering thinly sliced potatoes and onions, adding plenty of bechamél (non-dairy, in this case), and seasoning with mustard, salt, and thyme.
Dessert – Tiramisu
