Usually, if you head to a pub for dinner with friends, you’ll notice that the vegan options are sadly scarce, especially in beer-focused establishments. The menu is usually comprised of french fries, BBQ sandwiches and possibly some sort of kicky chicken wings.

Vegan beer hall Rewild plans to change that, and create an animal-friendly, environment-friendly vegan beer hall in Quincy, Massachusetts in the late summer, according to the Boston Globe.

Leading the marketing sector of Rewild is Pat McAuley, who went vegan and noticed his skin, allergies, and arthritis problems virtually disappeared. He now runs a website called Eat Green, Make Green, where he talks to guests about nutrition and self-care through podcasts. The other co-founders include Marissa Hughes, who previously worked for By Chloe and Will Hernandez, a former By Chloe chef!

Their plan is to have 20 different tap lines of local vegan beers. They also plan to have pizza, Impossible Burger sliders, oyster mushrooms wrapped in rice paper and ‘bacon-wrapped scallops‘.

Stay up to date on their grand opening.
