5. Chef Jason Wyrick
Chef Jason has been vegan for more than 13 years and advocates that we are all vegan food ambassadors. His message is rooted in his inspiring past, having lost more than 100 pounds and completely reversing his diabetes. Wyrick co-authored the NY Times Bestseller “21 Day Weightloss Kickstart” and founded the world’s first vegan food magazine, “The Vegan Culinary Experience.” He has traveled extensively throughout the world to teach vegan cooking classes and share vegan food with others. This passion and desire to share what he’s learned with others is inspiring and uplifting. “We are part of a continuum of positive vegan messages,” he wrote in a post on thevegantaste.com. “You may not be the one to convince this person to go vegan, but if you left them with a positive message, you made it that much easier for the next person to do it, and so on.”
