There are an estimated 70 million stray animals living in the U.S. alone. Even if we divide that number across 50 states, that’s a staggering amount of animals who should not be sentenced to a life of struggling to survive every day. Luckily, there are compassionate people everywhere stepping up to help reduce this problem.

Chloe and Keeley, for example, are two women from Long Island, New York who realized there was a huge stray cat problem in their area. Because so many of the feral cats in their neighborhood aren’t spayed or neutered, every year, they would see an influx of hundreds of kittens. Unwilling to idly stand by, the awesome gals take in as many babies as possible to rehabilitate and get them into loving, forever homes. Understandably, rescuing stray kittens can be financially challenging so the two have started a Go Fund Me to support their efforts. All of the donations will go back to helping the kittens get back to health and on their way to their forever homes. And what do we get in return? Adorable kitten photos, of course! The pair has

The pair has taken to Instagram where they share precious photos of their charges while raising awareness for the homeless cat problem. In their social media debut, Chloe and Keeley explain, “Hey guys, some of you may know us through our personal Instagram pages, but for those who don’t, we are a couple from New York that fosters stray kittens. We try to foster as many kittens as possible and get them into good homes. We will be posting regularly on how the kittens are doing on this account and if/when we have new babies. We will also be posting informational photos on how to take care of them if you ever needed to, though we recommend bringing them to people who know what they’re doing.”

Sharing precious photos of their own fosters, they encourage others to consider fostering and adoption. After all, there’s no better way to get people interested in volunteering their time and energy to help animals in need than showing the heart-melting results. Check out a few of their foster fur-babies.

Moose is so excited to be off the streets and on the way to a loving home!

Kittens are very cute, but they require round the clock care and feedings. Certainly a fair price to pay for days filled with “squees!”
