Taste in wall art can be as varied as the person whose wall it adorns. From photography to paintings to a plastic fish that sings a song when you press a button, there are plenty of things that people can hang in their homes that express their individuality and liven up their spaces.

Now, Italian company Elkebana wants to give us something else to hang proudly in our personal spaces: wall trophies. No, no, no – not the trophies that involve hunting and cruelty. Those are just, well, icky. These draw their inspiration from that concept, but use flowers, greenery and twigs to create a whimsical version that is as pretty to look at as it is noteworthy to those who see it. Drawing on the Japanese tradition of ikebana, the art of floral arrangement, the company wants to create something that is colorful, dynamic, living and ever-changing. Sounds like a massive improvement on its inspiration!

If you’re waffling on whether or not to hang that black light poster in your family room or something a little more refined, a wall trophy filled with flowers, bamboo and other organic materials is a fantastic option.

Twigs, branches, greenery and flowers are placed in glass jars to position them on the base.

The bases are plywood, designed to be both sleek and beautiful while not distracting from the floral arrangements they Support.

The sky is the limit when it comes to what can be arranged!

Arrangements can be large and bold in order to fill a bigger space…

…or more demure as to not overpower smaller rooms.

Sticking with one material brings a linear and cohesive look to a piece, but mixing things up can result in a beautiful and varied look.

One thing’s for sure, every home looks happier with flowers.
