For those of us living outside of the San Francisco Bay area, the days of following Cinnaholic on Instagram in order to vicariously enjoy their otherworldly looking cinnamon roll creations are over! Okay, we’re still going to follow them for a daily photo dose of delish, but now, if you happen to live in one of the nine cities they’re expanding to, you can take your own pictures too.
With their flagship store still firmly rooted in Berkley, California, the company achieved nationwide recognition after their appearance on Shark Tank. Initially concentrating on making their entirely plant-based offerings (right down to the vegan cream cheese frosting) available to a mass audience online, proprietors Florian and Shannon Radke are now franchising in an effort to bring cinnamony goodness to the masses. Basically, they’re doing God’s work.
They’re not the heroes we deserved, but the heroes we needed.
Want to know if you’re lucky enough to be getting a Cinnaholic near you? If you live in Santa Rosa, California; South Lake, Texas; Ocean City, Maryland; Charlotte, North Carolina then you must rejoice. There are also four more locations going up in Maryland and Delaware that are yet to be named so stay tuned, you might be finding yourselves knee deep in baked dreams-come-true yet.
Hey, did we mention this is what they’re doing around there?
It was always the intention to expand from the get go and with the success the little-vegan-bakery-that-could has seen, the timing is right. “After our ‘Shark Tank’ episode aired on May 9th 2014, we got flooded with inquiries about franchise opportunities,” The Radkes said on their site. “We decided to take some time and select our franchise partners very carefully since we put our heart and soul into creating the Cinnaholic experience.”
Feel like there should be a Cinnaholic in your neighborhood? Consider becoming a franchisee and fill out their application for the next round. We’ve got to imagine that the job perks would be pretty sweet around there. Ha, get it?
If you’re still jonesing for something to accompany your morning coffee and your city didn’t make the list, don’t despair, you can still order select flavors of their offerings online. You can even try your hand at making egg and dairy-free cinnamon rolls at home too. We should all have these in our lives.
Fix your eyes on perfection and you make almost everything speed towards it. – William Ellery Channing
