If you’re a dog guardian, this video will certainly make you hug your pooch a little tighter. Anna was rescued from a local shelter in Romania by Howl of a Dog, and her rescuer promised that the pup would one day have a loving home where she would live the happiest life – but first, she had a long road to recovery.

Upon rescue, Anna was immediately taken to the vet for emergency care as she had a long list of issues that needed to be addressed. The pup suffered from starvation, dehydration, protein deficiency, mange, parasites, and more. Among all of the medical problems, however, it was her hopelessness and depression that stood out the most. But as we all know, when you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up. With kindness, care, and time, Anna made a full recovery, and her transformation is the most beautiful thing you’ll see today!

Anna is now a happy, playful, and healthy dog who is ready to experience all that life has to offer. The day has finally come for Howl of a Dog to fulfill the promise they made this precious girl and find her a loving forever home. If you are interested in adopting Anna, click here. Howl of a Dog reports that they do facilitate international adoptions so anyone in the U.S., Canada, or Europe are encouraged to inquire!

Glad Anna\'s made such an amazing recovery -- but I have to ask, what "shelter" would let her get into that condition in the first place??? Whoever they are, they need to be OUT OF BUSINESS!
