Many of us make it through life with the help of our parents. We live in a world where we don’t have to live in fear that at any moment our parents will be taken away from us. Unfortunately, animals don’t have this same luxury. Animal babies born in factory farms enjoy their mother’s presence for mere moments before being shuttled to another location.

Thankfully, organizations like Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary, are able to save some of these young animals and give them a second chance at life. Elma, the orphaned baby lamb in this video, has just arrived at Edgar’s Mission. Aware that Elma has gone through the traumatic experience of losing her family, the incredible staff is doing their best to make her feel as comfortable as possible.
