This is exciting! Don Lee Farms, a California-based family food company, just introduced a new organic and all plant-based raw burger made from beans and seeds. The burger “bleeds” organic beet juice and will even sizzle on the grill, thanks to organic vegetable-based fats, similar to traditional beef. The burger is also non-GMO, gluten-free, as well as free of artificial ingredients and preservatives.

Awesome, right? Well, there is even more good news: you can buy the burger at Costco, Wal-Mart, and Whole Foods Markets nationwide!

By offering healthy, plant-based options in club stores such as Costco, Don Lee Farms is helping numerous people have access to real, wholesome food options!

“As people choose to consume less meat, they expect a burger alternative to be made with simple, wholesome and recognizable ingredients. This is the burger for them,” said Danny Goodman, Product Development of Don Lee Farms.

The plant-based meat market is set to reach $6.43 billion by 2023, a great sign that sustainable plant-based products are taking over the market. Considering the toll the animal agriculture industry is having on our planet, this is promising news.

Given the immense popularity of the Beyond Burger and the Impossible Burger, we are sure Don Lee Farm’s new burgers will be a hit! For more information on Don Lee Farms, check out their website.
