World Meat-Free Week recently produced a documentary film series called “Protectors of the Planet,” which features the stories of individuals from around the world who are each doing their part to help save animals and the planet.

This video features the story of Chris Smith and Dale Vince, fan and chairman of Forest Green Rovers respectively. Dale is also the owner of electricity company Ecotricity, and has spent his entire life dedicated to living sustainably. The introduction of his vegan menu at the club has grown on the club’s fans, including Chris Smith, who has since adopted a completely vegan lifestyle, and lists and improvement in his health as one of the main benefits.
