Best friends come in all shapes, sizes, and even species, just take a look at these two cuties in this video. Eleanor Pigby and Ella the kitten love nothing more than spending their days snuggling with one another.

Many people don’t realize that pigs share many things in common with the animals we typically consider pets. Like cats or dogs, pigs are incredibly intelligent, affectionate, and can even learn their names and do tricks. Sadly, however, most people only ever see these animals as commodities or “food” and never get to know these amazing things about pigs.

As you can see from Eleanor and Ella, these two animals aren’t really that different after all. If we take the time to step back and view animals as someones and not somethings, we can all learn to be a little more compassionate.
