Nothing puts a bigger smile on our faces than following the progress of animals rescued from neglect and abuse. Watching them learn how to love again is truly a miracle. GiGi, a four-year-old Schnauzer/Terrier mix, was abandoned, all alone and in critical condition for months before finding her way to non-profit Rescue Dogs Rock NYC. She has been at the emergency vet ever since her rescue, receiving life-saving medical treatment. Slowly but surely, she is learning to trust again.
GiGi was hairless, dehydrated, emaciated, and anemic when Rescue Dogs Rock NYC found her. After the vet evaluated her, it was confirmed she had sarcoptic and Demodex mange and was heartworm positive.

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC has spent thousands of dollars healing GiGi, without hesitation because they simply refuse to give up on her.

Their dedication has paid off… this is GiGi today!

She looks AMAZING!

GiGi continues to recover at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC’s vet partner. Soon, she will be ready to be placed in foster care for further recuperation. What an incredible transformation!

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC states on their Facebook post that GiGi is good with dogs and kids, but please, no cats. Interested in GiGi? For more information, visit Rescue Dogs Rock NYC’s website. My husband and i belong to PETA , have other humane interests also, donate when we can. We are on SS, have 3 rescue dogs, and detest animal cruelty or abuse. The devil has a place for these idiots when they croak!
I pray that no animals will be born if they are destined for abuse, neglect or torture. This is not a world for animals, birds, etc.
We will someday be left all alone, (just people), then we can start the elimination.
GREAT PEOPLE AT RESCUE DOGS N.Y.C TO SAVE GIGI THE DOG.
A wonderful, caring organization!
I don\’t think I will ever figure out why anyone could possibly be cruel or abuse an animal. These poor dogs and cats, lucky to have caring shelters to make them whole again and bestow love and caring for them. We have our 3rd Westie who is now 14 and we can\’t have anymore due to age, but I will always want another one. Blessed are you and your staff for helping these helpless darlings.
Thank God for the wonderful group of people who help the helpless dogs and cats. I will never understand why some hard hearted people abuse them. I think whatever they to the animals, the same should be done to them. That won\’t happen of course, but someway, somehow they will get their just desserts.
