Riley Farm Rescue responded to a heartbreaking animal cruelty case that was “the worst they’ve ever seen.” Although they were already at full capacity, they were able to get 10 animals out and to safety.

Upon being rescued, all the animals headed straight to Fenton River Veterinary Hospital to receive immediate medical attention.

“Yesterday was the single most hardest – day of my life in Rescue. The hardest – period. I can’t discuss it, but it is bad and I’m beyond devastated. Another animal cruelty case, but the worst,” said Riley Farm Rescue.

Now that these animals have been rescued from neglect, they will always be safe, always be loved, and always receive proper nutrition and veterinary care. Due to limited capacity, some of them will live at Riley Farm Rescue, and the others have already found permanent homes at other sanctuaries!

“We have a responsibility to bring them to freedom and that is where we will be focusing our time and energy until they are all safe. Our mission is for all animals to know nothing but safety, happiness, kindness, and love. We take comfort in keeping all of our animals safe. We wish we could do the same for all of them,” said the rescue.

“We need help, we need private homes for animals – please reach out if you are 100% able to take an animal. We need help with funds, we need to raise funds for the vetting of the animals we are committing to and their hauling and intake,” said Riley Farm Rescue.
