Check out this super simple and easy tip from @thepelvicdancefloor, a pelvic floor physical therapist! Working with your pelvic floor is extremely important and can improve so many things. Strengthening the muscles can help support the function of bowel movements, urination, pregnancy, and delivery and also help keep the bladder, intestines, and reproductive organs in place.

For this tip, all you’ll need is two tennis balls. You can either tape them or put them in a pillowcase and twist them up so that the two stay together. Next, she says to find your belly button and the bony part on the front of your hip. Find the middle point between these two and this is where the top of the tennis ball pair will go.

Next, she says to make your way to lying on your stomach. The first few times, you’ll just be getting used to the pressure. Make sure to breathe deep and inhale and exhale there for at least a minute. When you feel comfortable, begin to do some movements. This could be upper body press-ups or some leg lifts. Remember to drink a lot of water!
