The beauty world is moving toward a more plant-based and cruelty-free direction. Celebrities loved for their fashion and admired by many fans are influencing consumers to invest in cruelty-free products. Lady Gaga and Millie Bobby Brown both recently launched vegan beauty lines! The very popular store, Primark, is joining the world of vegan cosmetics with their latest beauty line.

Previously criticized for their cheap fast fashion, the company has been working to changing the way their products are produced. They’ve launched “sustainable cotton pajama and jean collections as well as a line of environmentally-friendly glitter,” and even launched an initiative to train cotton farmers to produce sustainable cotton.

Now they’ve launched a beauty line called “P.S… Naturals” that is certified by The Vegan Society. It’s “made from at least 90% plant-derived ingredients and recycled packaging.” The collection includes exfoliating hemp mitts and brushes, gentle cleansers, organic pads, moisturizer, cleansing wipes, and an overnight sleep mask.

Like the rest of their products, the collection will also be affordable with the exfoliating mitt costing $2 and the back exfoliator $3. The prices for the cleansers, masks, and moisturizers range from just $3 to $4. The collection is available in stores in Europe and will soon be available on their online store.

As The Vegan Society says, it’s great news that vegan beauty products that are mostly natural and cruelty-free will be accessible and affordable. This will encourage people to buy more vegan products and will hopefully inspire other big brands and companies to also launch vegan collections!
