Winter Fall Vegan Fashion 2011

It feels just like yesterday that I was sharing with all of you my fav fashion picks for the summer! Boy oh boy does time fly, cause Winter is literally just around the corner. This week the heat came on in my apartment building and I even broke out my beret, fingerless gloves and scarf. So I figured since the chill outside has put me in fall/winter mode I would use it as an excuse to share with you some of my favorite vegan fashion picks for the upcoming fall/winter season. I guarantee these warm and toasty picks with keep you styling through the cooler months.

1. Plum to the Mountains Jacket

This beautiful purple coat available over @ fab online boutique Modcloth is the perfect alternative to all the evil non-vegan puffy down feather coats I’ve been coming across in stores lately. It’s fill is 100% polyester and it’s shell is a mix of an acrylic knit & polyester. This really is the perfect casual coat for the upcoming winter months and it would look fabulous paired up with some awesome vegan knits (see below!).

2. Navajo Scarf in Blue and Magenta

The fabulous geometric scarf from Thief & Bandit is the perfect versatile everyday winter accessory. It’s can be worn as an outfit accessory or it can be worn with your winter coat to help keep you extra snug & warm. Either way I love, Love. LOVE it.

3. Triangles Tri-Blend Cardigan

This awesome unisex geometric cardigan from Jessalin Beutler is the perfect staple to add to your wardrobe this fall. You can NEVER have to many cardies for the fall/winter season. JB has quite a few awesome cardigans for both men & women in her shop so make sure to check them all out.

4. Logan Boot

This simple but chic knee high winter boot from 100% eco-conscious vegan shoe line Neuaura is durable, lined with toasty faux fur and fitted with a rugged sturdy sole. It really is the perfect stylish winter boat.

5. Architect Double Buckle Boot

Cri de Coeur has a pretty phenomenal Hearts of Darkness line this season that is full of lush rustic fall colours. The Architect boot has to be my all time fave from this new collection. It’s casual, chic & sexy and really is the perfect versatile boot for fall/winter. I also love their Rugged boot too which is pretty much just a flat version of the Architect. Both these boots would make amazing everyday wear additions to any fall/winter wardrobe.

6. Julie Fold Over Satchel With Belted Trims

While this sophisticate vintage inspired satchel from Melie Bianco’s FW11/12 collection won’t keep you warm & toasty, it will keep you styling all winter long. It comes in a delish saddle colour (featured above) and in 3 other fabulous fall colours (gray, black & berry). It can be carried by it’s top handle or it’s crossbody strap.

7. Herbivore Cross Unisex Hoodie

Every vegan needs a comfy vegan statement hoodie to lounge around in during the upcoming cold, wet & snowy season. I’ve had my eye on this awesome unisex hoodie from Herbivore for years, it looks so snug!

8. Slouchy Beret in Lemon Yellow

This bright & bold vegan knit beret from Softspoken is the perfect way to accessorize your winter coat & brighten up any gloomy Winter day. Softspoken has a plethora of colourful vegan knits so make sure to check them out. SS is not a 100% vegan but Rachael the owner is more then happy to make any piece in her shop vegan!

9. Black & Beige Striped Glovelets

These vegan knit stripe glovelets are fun, edgy and made from a linen cotton mix. Etsy has an awesome selection of cruelty free knit glovelets so make sure to head on over there to find the perfect pair that suits you & your Winter coat to a T.

10. Vaute Couture Winter Coats

This is Vaute Couture’s third collection of chic 100% vegan eco-friendly winter coats. Their FW11/12 collection is currently on pre-order @ 20% off until 10/12. Last month I scored myself the Emily in black featured above. I’ve been eying VC coats since the collection first debut 3 years ago so I’m super stoked about getting my new coat. I just know the Emily is going to keep me über warm all Winter long! VC is also hosting a few pop-up shops around the US & Canada so make sure to checkout their website to see if they will be coming to a city near you!
