White House advisor and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci testified before Congress on June 23 about the state of the coronavirus in the United States.
Fauci said that states that are seeing rising coronavirus cases, “reflect an increase in community spread. That’s something I’m really quite concerned about.” Community spread is when people don’t wear masks or practice social distancing. Johns Hopkins data showed that the seven-day average of new infections increased by 30% compared to the previous week. ““Over the past couple of days, we were going down from 30,000 to 25 to 20. And now we sort of stayed about flat, and now we’re going up. A couple of days ago, there were 30,000 new infections. That’s very troublesome to me,” Fauci told lawmakers.
Fauci addressed younger generations, which are rapidly getting infected with coronavirus, “If you get infected and spread the infection — even though you do not get sick — you are part of the process of the dynamics of an outbreak. And what you might be propagating, inadvertently — perhaps innocently — is infecting someone who then infects someone, who then is someone who’s vulnerable.”
He urged Americans to avoid crowds and to wear masks. “Plan A: Don’t go in a crowd. Plan B: If you do, make sure you wear a mask,” said Fauci. Cases are growing in 26 states by 5% of more, including Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma.

Scientists believe that the spread of COVID-19, or coronavirus, started at an exotic animal market in Wuhan, China. You can help stop the incidence of viruses like these by signing this petition to ban the wildlife trade.

This is a good time to reconsider our intake of animal products to stay healthy. Eating more plant-based foods is known to help with chronic inflammation, heart health, mental wellbeing, fitness goals, nutritional needs, allergies, gut health, and more! Dairy consumption also has been linked to many health problems, including acne, hormonal imbalance, cancer, prostate cancer and has many side effects.
