In this episode, I speak with Julie Piatt.
About Julie Piatt
A true spiritual wellness warrior, Julie Piatt aka “SriMati” is an author, podcast host, plant-based chef, motivational speaker, meditation guide, yoga teacher, and singer. At the core of all of Julie’s offerings is an opportunity for an expansion of our perspectives; a gain of cosmic view so that we all may realize our divine blueprint or life purpose.
Julie co-authored the best selling cookbook The Plantpower Way in April 2015 along with her plant-based endurance athlete husband and best selling author, Rich Roll. Julie authored her first solo book This Cheese is Nuts in 2017 and The Plantpower Way: Italia, the follow up to The Plantpower Way just recently published.
Why You Should Listen
I recently got the chance to spend time with Julie in New York City and it was by far one of the most fascinating conversations I think I’ve had to date. She is working on developing a commercial line of vegan cheese – among numerous other projects – but in speaking with Julie, I came to realize she sees not only food but business in a way that most other people don’t.
In this conversation, we get into:
- How Julie first became interested in creating plant-based food and the role it has played in her own journey of self-realization.
- She discusses how she and her husband, Rich Roll, managed to pull themselves out of financial collapse and develop a meaningful business that is centered around providing healing services to others.
- How we can create a more sustainable food system and she shares the ultimate question all people need to answer in order to expand their consciousness and build a more compassionate world.
If you’re looking to take your approach to business or life to a whole new level, keep listening.
