In 2019, toy brand Hasbro announced that it would stop using plastic in its packaging. However, Hasbro recently announced that it would be re-introducing plastic packaging for select products. Hasbro needs to stop greenwashing and follow the lead of environmentally-friendly toy companies like LEGO, which decreased emissions by 95% by producing toys with green methanol.
