Awards season is upon us, with all the glitz, glamour and star sightings it comes with. For some, there’s nothing more exciting than watching our favorite stars waltz down the red carpet in all of their finery, anticipation for the night ahead in their eyes. For us, the passions of these celebrities when the cameras aren’t on is what we find the most interesting.

Be it raising their voices for shelter animals, championing elephants or eating plant-based, these compassionate and conscientious Golden Globes nominees use their incredible star-power to make a difference. Now, that’s something we think they should all receive an award for! Don’t get us wrong, we enjoy a well crafted turn on a TV show or in a movie too, but when the person behind a brilliant character is a Green Monster we can’t help but love them even more.

It’s anyone’s guess who will take home a statue on the big night, but we feel like these caring men and women are already winning when it comes to trying to live more consciously. While they thank their people, animals will be thanking them.
