Some people were just born to help animals! Here are some examples: Tedi fostered many dogs before saving paralyzed Pani from Iran. Robin Birdsong founded Enchanted Farm Sanctuary after relating to the plight of cows in the dairy industry. Lauralee Blanchard gave up her corporate career to open up a sanctuary. A man nicknamed “The Dog Father” cares for over 700 rescue dogs on his property in India. Now, there’s also a real-life Batman saving animals!
In 2014, Chris Van Dorn was inspired when his rescue dog was transported to him by organization PilotsnPaws. He himself was getting his Private Pilot’s License at the time. He decided to combine his “ability to drive as well as my passion of flying, and combine it with my love of animals.” Thus, Batman4Paws was born!
He describes his incredible organization as: “a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to rescue and transport dogs, cats, and other animals in need to furever homes, no-kill facilities, and foster homes throughout the state of Florida and beyond. Transports are done personally by me (Batman!) using any means necessary, although I prefer to fly.”
Batman decided to dress as The Dark Knight because he wanted to be a “symbol for helping those in need.” The animal-saving Batman even goes by the same motto as Batman: “It’s now who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.”
Batman doesn’t just save dogs either, he helps shelter kittens get adopted as well. Batman is also willing to help any animals in need, as the many animal emojis in the Instagram profile bio indicate.
The Batman4Paws organization basically “rescues and transports dogs, cats, and other animals in need to furever homes, no-kill facilities, and foster homes throughout the state of Florida and beyond.” It’s inspiring to everyone of all ages, but we can particularly imagine children being influenced to help animals and be kind to them thanks to this wonderful real life Batman!
