By now, Joe Exotic has become a household name. The internet is filled with articles about the Tiger King star and the latest news pertaining to his life and park. After years of abusing his animals and plotting to get Big Cat Rescue Founder, Carole Baskin, killed, he was finally sentenced to twenty-two years in prison.  The footage of how he treated his animals is extremely disturbing and unfortunately, things have not improved much since his sentencing.

Jeffrey Lowe bought the G.W. Zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma from Joe Exotic in 2016. While he claims to be fixing Joe Exotic’s mistakes and treating the animals much better, undercover footage shows otherwise. Recent photos depict a lion with severe mange and missing portions of its ear with bloody infection; an emaciated bear; and lions with severe flystrike (a condition in which fly larvae are laid under the skin of an animal and maggots hatch and eat away at the skin) and open wounds laying lifeless in the mud.

The zoo is still a tourist attraction that features cub-petting and photo ops, which means they breed the animals at an excessive rate. Doing so causes health problems and genetic defects. These animals have already suffered so much and deserve to live out their lives in a sanctuary where they can receive proper care. Sign this petition to investigate Jeffrey Lowe and revoke his exhibitor license for his blatant violations of the Animal Welfare Act for the animals being kept at G.W. Zoo. Demand that the poor animals of G.W. Zoo be Relinquished!
