Dogs and cats are beloved members of so many families. Even people without a passion for Animal rights and welfare, often love these two animals and want to protect them from harm. Unfortunately, there are some people who subject these innocent animals to horrible treatment and abuse.

In October, authorities seized twenty-seven severely abused animals from a home in Paris, Texas. They also found two dead cats being eaten by dogs. The animals were in terrible condition and taken to Paris Animal Shelter. A Shih Tzu named Harrison, who ended up a Paws of Love Animal Rescue, had his fur matted with feces and covered with fleas. His dewclaw was also falling off and he had difficulty walking after being confined to a crate for so long. Fortunately, with their care and love, he is doing much better.

The cruelty and abuse that these animals endured are horrifying, but the owner has yet to be charged for their treatment of these animals. They’re even petitioning to get them back. Sign this petition to demand that this owner not get any of their animals back and instead be charged with animal cruelty!
