Most people say the word “rodent” with a look of disgust on their faces. They associate animals like rats and mice with being dirty and disease-ridden. However, mice and rats are actually quite clean since they groom multiple times every day. They are also less likely to catch and transmit diseases than dogs or cats.

Mice and rats are actually extremely intelligent and emotional beings that love to play, have close family relationships, and have a complex communication system that uses touch, smell, and sound. They also love cuddling and even have the capacity to experience empathy for each other.

Sadly, these sweet animals suffer so much cruelty, without many people sticking up for them. In addition to being the victims of invasive, inhumane lab experiments, rats and mice also die painful deaths due to inhumane traps.

There are so many humane ways to catch a rat or mouse that is in your home. However, many people decide to use glue traps. As soon as an animal steps or sits in a glue trap, their skin gets stuck. As the animal struggles to get away, more and more of their skin gets glued down. These poor animals die of thirst, hunger, and even ripping their skin off while trying to get free. Sign this petition to ban these cruel torture devices
