If your dog is a part of your family, then you understand the feeling of doing anything for them. Not only are they companions and family members, but they’re innocent and deserving of all the love and compassion in the world. The 21-year-old who recently gave his life to save his dog definitely understood that.

The young man and a young woman were walking their dogs when one of their beloved dogs fell into the River Weaver in the English town Northwich. They jumped in after the dog to try and save him, but when police, firefighters, and paramedics rushed to the scene at 5 am, they saved the dog and found the woman hanging on to the side of a steep embankment.

She was saved, but the man was still not found. Unfortunately, after an extensive search, his body was found.

It’s devastating that a life was lost, especially the life of a young man who was obviously very caring and compassionate, but he did die a hero. He drowned saving the life of his beloved dog and the woman he was with also made it. He will always be remembered in this positive way.
