In early March, Tennessee was hit by tornadoes that killed 24 people. It was terrifying; people lost their lives, homes, and more. Understandably, many family were concerned about their four-legged, furry family members as well. Even country superstar Miranda Lambert was helping animals displaced by the tornadoes. Now, nearly two months later, one dog has been reunited with her family!
Bella, the Australian Shepherd alerted her family that something was going to happen. But just moments later, their home was destroyed. Faith Johnson suffered two broken ribs from holding her children so tightly and her husband, Eric Johnson was blown off his family as he tried to protect them as well. Their home was destroyed.
However, they plan to rebuild their home and they don’t plan to leave their property, but they were having a difficult time contemplating living without their dog, Bella. When the tornadoes hit and the home was destroyed, she was gone. They were so worried about her, they kept returning to the area to leave their clothes for her to remember their scent.
Thanks to people who were on the lookout, set up cameras, and left food out for her, Bella has been reunited with her loving family!
Their family now feels complete again. They may have lost their home, but they have each other. Bella was taken to the groomer to get cleaned up and is safe with her loved ones!
