Animal rescue centers and shelters are in need of help during the coronavirus pandemic. They continue to rescue and take in animals, especially since many people abandon their pets in times of crisis, but have had to cancel adoption events and because of social distancing regulations, volunteers cannot come in as usual. Therefore, they’ve been urging people to consider fostering or adopting. Star of Queer Eye, Antoni Porowski fostered a dog and Miley Cyrus adopted a puppy during this time as well.
Award-winning singer Billie Eilish often speaks up for important causes. She talks openly about being vegan because she loves animals. She partnered with Greenpeace and fellow vegan Woody Harrelson for a PSA about Climate change and even worked to have an eco-friendly tour. Therefore, it isn’t really a surprise that Eilish is stepping up and helping animals during this time.
On March 17th, Eilish revealed on her Instagram stories that she was fostering pit bull puppies. She encouraged other people to foster as well and said the puppies she was fostering were adoptable. But on Monday, April 13th, Eilish shared that she “failed at fostering.”

She adopted one of the adorable puppies she was fostering and the other was adopted by someone else, so they both have furever homes and they were in a safe, comfortable home in the meantime thanks to Eilish.
Please consider also fostering or adopting a shelter animal during this time. If you’re unable to, then you can also reach out to your local shelter about donating money, food, toys, or other supplies. Sign this petition to pledge to help an animal shelter by fostering, adopting, or donating!

Why do animal lovers choose pit bulls – the dog ranked #1 in animal deaths and attacks? It be like a vegan marrying a hunter. I dont understand it at all.
