The more SeaWorld tries to hide from the truth — that marine animals do not belong in captivity — the more backlash they receive. So far this year, the marine park’s stocks have plummeted, artists have cancelled performances, and attendance is lower this time than last year’s.
So, what does SeaWorld do to counteract the growing list of non-supporters, which it calls “animal rights extremists?” (Yes, because apparently when you care about an animal’s basic rights, your automatically “extreme.”) Well, the marine park has done quite a lot of their fact-twisting PR gimmicks, for one.
Most recently, Dr. Ingrid Visser, head of the Orca Research Trust, called out on SeaWorld and asked that the marine park apologize for misusing her orca research to their benefit.
Because SeaWorld has been found to be the biggest hypocrite of all — with all of its shady and deceiving lies — here are a couple of videos that SeaWorld probably doesn’t want you to see, with the above video from DNews, showcasing “Blackfish,” the documentary that started it all:

Oh, and obviously, SeaWorld doesn’t want you to see Blackfish.

Its all so hypocritical. Yes, capturing animals for human entertainment is wrong and sick. But its not just the whales and dolphins who are paying the price at our expense. If people want to close SeaWorld, why not close Zoos, and Circus\’?? They are just as much at fault at SeaWorld is. People are so hungry for entertainment and a thrill of seeing "wild animals" that we are blind to fact that HUMANS are the main reason for animals suffering in captivity. We cant just point one finger because of a documentary, and protest that SeaWorld "let them go" "close its doors" when we all will still continue our lives and go see the "new elephant" that arrived at the zoo today.
I love that people finally see and understand what happens to animals out of their natural habitat. Its the circle of life, and were wrecking it by putting them in cages. This topic makes my blood boil. Protesting against SealWorld\’s abuse to whales and dolphins? Well hop on the band wagon and close all other places that make a profit at keeping animals in cages.
CLOSE THEM ALL
You’re one ignorant fool Renee. Not all cetaceans are born in captivity, the ones that are, die before their 10 th birthday. I could go on for hours about the inherent injusticec and cruelty of confining these highly intelligent beings to bathtubs for the “amusement” of the uneducated. But you’re the minority and you don’t matter.
