A TikTok has gone viral of three abandoned dogs being rescued in Houston off the side of a freeway. When @erwin100315 approached the three pups, they all jogged up to him and looked excited to see someone.

The text that was overlaid on the TikTok video said, “3 new dogs in a common dump area off the highway.”

“A lot of people can’t squeeze in 3 dogs, so pleas were put out,” the video reads.

Thankfully, @erwin100315 was able to help out the pups and had a little extra room to take them back to his house.

A final clip with the text reading, “They were saved just in time. Now their new lives begin.” the clip showed the pups running around in the grass.

The one-minute video has already racked up over 422K views.

While we cannot change the horrific treatment that many animals have already endured in the past, we can give animals a voice and hold perpetrators accountable for crimes in the present and the future. Many animal abusers are not held accountable by the law, which feeds into this horrific cycle of abuse.
