Adorable Dog Sneaks Into Fabric Store, Finds Home!

A fabric store in Brazil had an unexpected addition to their window display recently. Unbeknownst to the owner, an adorable stray dog had been hiding in the store. After she left, he emerged. The next morning, passersby got a delightful surprise. 

The dog had found himself a perfect place to sleep for the night; on a demo bed in the front window! Fortunately, rather than being angry with the intruder, passersby were enamored. The snoozing pup even made a TV appearance according to a local animal rescue worker. 

When the owner arrived the next day, the dog left. However, animal rescue workers were able to quickly track him down. After seeing his display, they realized how much he needed a home. After he was found, rescue workers fed him and took him to the vet. They then began looking for someone to offer the sweet pup a safe home. 

Fortunately, he did not need to wait long. His new dad, Lucas, was one of the many people who had been moved by the pup’s display at the shop. Now named Thor, he has a bed to call his own each night!

Remember, if you are considering getting a pet, there are millions of animals who are waiting for a home to call their own! According to PETA, in the United States alone over 6 million dogs and cats are surrendered by their owners each year. Sadly, not all of these animals are adopted leaving them to be euthanized or kept in a stressful shelter environment. Always consider adopting a pet in need.
