The dog, Laddie, can be seen in the video lounging around the house of his mom’s sister. @possiblymissemily explains that she is watching Laddie for the weekend, but she is also going to her boyfriend’s, so the Lab needs to pack his “overnight bag.” The video shows Emily getting Laddie’s backpack all ready and then strapping it onto the pup so they can go on their way. The video quickly went viral, with over 1 million views. Adorable Laddie waddles into the home wearing his blue and orange backpack.

Emily told Newsweek that Laddie trained as a guide dog when he was a puppy, so he is used to wearing a vest or pack. She said that wearing the vest used to mean he was “on-duty,” so wearing his little backpack gives him a sense of pride.
