This adorable cat named Bea reaches into every cage at the vet to greet the animals and even got her best buddy, Peggy, to do the same!

Bea was found as a stray when she was a kitten. As she grew up, she loved being at the hospital so much that they let her stay. She is playful and curious, and the crew loves having her around. Bea loves to put her paw in the other animal’s cages and greet them when they come in.
“We make sure that if an animal comes in, they are used to cats, and the owner is ok with her coming in,” The Hospital Cats told The Dodo.
She will often sit in front of the cage for 10 or 20 minutes before reaching her paw in to make sure that they are ok and happy.
“I like to think that she understands “Hey, I’ve been there before.” She just sympathizes with them.”

The workers say that she is great with the other animals, and the other animals trust her.
Another cat named Peggy came into the hospital under similar circumstances, and the workers noticed that Bea was poking her paw in the cage, wanting to play with her. That’s when the hospital decided to keep that cat as well. Peggy and Bea have become best buddies. Bea and Peggy do everything together around the hospital, from napping together to wrestling and even swatting birds on the computer screen.
Bea trained Peggy in a way to greet the new animals and how to make them feel at home by waiting by the cage and finally putting their paw in to say hello.
