Soooo... is there some reason there are only 45 recipes in this collection of 60 recipes?

These recipes look fabulous, but sorry, I have to make a correction here. Nanaimo Bars are Canadian. Nanaimo is a town in British Columbia, which is in Canada. I am from there.

I too have to make a correction: The exact origin of the bar is unknown, though it is attributed to Nanaimo, British Columbia. A lot of recipes in Canada and the rest of North America are from Europe and the UK. There is very little that has its actual roots in North America. The first time the bars were ever called "Nanaimo Bars" was in 1953. The bars were in existence long before that time. In fact, the recipe was first published under the name "London Fog bars" before it was published as "Nanaimo Bars".

I can\'t actually imagine a vegan eating them at all, even a veganized version of them.. Way too much sweet going on.. One thing vegans share in common, if they are completely vegan, is the lack of a sweet tooth or sugar craving.. If I ate even a small amount of one of those things, I\'d go cross-eyed. o_O
