This is my morning energy drink. You might ask why is the smoothie such a dark green color. It is the spirulina, which is a great source of protein to start the day! BRILLIANT way to get greens into children and adults! Like I have said earlier, the most important thing is that it tastes YUMMY! So go slow with the greens, and use more fruit in the beginning. Remember the recipe I am giving you is just a guide line, you can use different fruits and greens depending on your taste buds.

jennifer ory donaldson--you have NO idea how good for the body all this smoothie stuff is--it becomes a 'mind over what you are looking at' matter.

Can people really drink this stuff, much less enjoy it? It sounds really yucky, but more power to ya...

We don't put algae's and grass together in a smoothie. You should consider the "less is more" rule. If you mix both, the total benefit is 0. Put one OR another, not both.

This recipe is mistakenly labeled as vegan....bee pollen is an animal product :( Other than that it looks super yummy!
