This refreshing Chia Ginger Fresca has nausea-busting properties from the ginger and lemon, lots of immune-boosting vitamin C and tons of digestion-enhancing fibre from the chia seeds.
Chia Ginger Fresca [Vegan]
- 4 cups water
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 – 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated and peeled
- Place everything in a big mason jar and shake well.
- Let sit for at least 2 hours for the chia seeds to gel.
NOTE: Sometimes ginger can be difficult to grate. I like to freeze my ginger and grate it with a citrus zester.
