An all-vegan food and drink festival is coming to Randall’s Island in New York this October 1 and will feature more than 100 vendors, the vegan media company and host of the festival, Ecorazzi, announced.
The Vegan Food and Drink festival has served over 18,000 guests across three shows in Toronto and Chicago, and this October will mark its New York City debut. The festival will include food, craft beer, wine, and spirits, so make sure to remember your I.D. if you’re excited to drink. Guests can expect to find vegan burgers from Los Angeles’ Doomie’s, a house-made seitan sandwich smothered in onions and gravy called “The Hail Chic’n Seitan” from Portland’s Snackrilege, and vegan brunch goodies, like “Coconut Crusted French Toast” from Doug McNish.
This beautiful vegan concoction called the “Tough Stuffed Burger” will be there. Take a look at that plant-based mac!

Make Your Own Vegan Festival Food at Home
The festival’s Facebook page promises that: “Sky-high burgers, creamy bowls of mac n’ cheese, and epic brownie sundaes are only some of the items that are going to make this one feast attendees won’t soon forget.” If you find yourself drooling over those descriptions but aren’t located in New York, don’t sweat it. We’ve taken a look through our Food Monster App, which is available for both Android and iPhone, to bring you some festival worthy plant-based recipes that you can make at home.
Fudgy Marshmallow S’mores Brownies
These Fudgy Marshmallow S’mores Brownies by Dora Daily will remind you of your best camping trips. They’re rich, chocolatey and chewy with mini vegan marshmallows. And if you’ve never been camping, no worries. These brownies are the best part of camping and no bugs.
These Black Bean Burgers With Cilantro Lime Sauce by Dora Daily are cool and tangy and full of flavor. While they seem super indulgent, one serving clocks in at a mere 154 calories, so eat up and enjoy!
These Garlic Knots With Beer Cheese by Gabrielle St. Claire are out of control. So indulgent; so “cheesy”; so beer-inspired and delicious! The knots are cooked in a cast-iron skillet so they look like pull-apart bread, which makes for an awesome presentation. This appetizer is guaranteed to be a sure-shot hit at any party.
These Bloody Marias Made With Infused Tequila by Tami Noyes will make you think of gazpacho: cool and refreshing, with spicy undertones. With infused tequila, this version gets an extra-tasty, festival-appropriate kick.
