Long Beach in Los Angeles, California is burgeoning with vegan options these days. With choices between Ahimsa, Steamed, Seabirds, Under the Sun, The Grain Cafe, and Wild Chive, it has pretty much developed into a plant-based food haven. Now, a new domain is being crossed with the creation of a vegan fast food drive-thru. This is where Plant Power Fast Food comes into play.

Plant Power Fast Food opened their first location 2 years back in San Diego, and now they are expanded to the Long Beach region. Officially opening up on September 1st, Plant Power’s new location will be situated at Clark and Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, California.

For those who are not aware, Plant Power focuses on a purely Californian palate, but vegan. They offer all your favorite fast food items like milkshakes, chili cheese fries, burgers, and buffalo chicken, without including any animal-based products. It’s all 100% plant-based goodness.

VP of Operations, Zach Vouga, says that their mission when developing Plant Power was to turn more people on to a vegan diet by showing consumers they do not have to miss out on their favorite foods. He says that they are trying to show customers how delicious vegan food is without being preachy, and by creating a welcoming environment.

Plant Power Fast Food is also located in San Diego and Encinitas, California.
