Obviously, we encourage you to drink responsibly but we also encourage plant-based eaters to have as much fun as possible. Sweet Hereafter is a bustling vegan bar that serves pretty little cocktails in mason jars and features a sprawling covered patio. The bar lighting is intimate, and the snacks are plenty. Their menu has tequila cocktails, bourbon, lemon and ice tea mixers and applejack agave options. For a snack, pick from Jamaican rice bowls, a pretzel burger, a tempeh sandwich or a hummus and baguette starter. The options are endless.
All items, food, and drink, at Sixth Street Tavern, are all vegan unless marked NV. So, rest assured you’ll enjoy yourself here. Their menu has incredible items, LA style, like seitan bites, vegan meatloaf, vegan provolone to top your veggie burgers, and of course, they have delicious drinks like an olive on olive, a hope & 6, and a lemon ginger raspberry cocktail.

Beelman’s is an entirely vegan pub in downtown LA, where they believe quality food and drink can bring every single person together, plant-based or not. They have special twists on foods and drinks, all of which are enjoyed by vegans and nonvegans alike. Their menu features crispy garbanzo beans, tater tots with soyrizo and cashew cheese, buddha bowls and a plantain impossible burger. As for drinks, enjoy IPA’s, pale ales, ciders and cocktails that contain pineapple, brava rum and strawberry frozen rose.

They have plenty of vegan sandwiches, pot pies, starters and burgers like the impossible burger. For drinks, enjoy ciders, beers, and lemon whiskeys.

As we all know, Ladybird is one of the top vegan restaurants and bars in New York. It’s a globally inspired vegetable tapas restaurant in the East Village, serving pretty, small plates and prix fixe flights. Their menu is just as beautiful as the restaurant itself, serving mushroom toast, eggplant, fondues, buffalo fried mac and cheese and more. For drinks, try a bell pepper pineapple, orange lemon or raspberry-lime cocktail.

For bar food, look for coconut and lentil soups, cherry tomato tarts and vegan pate starters.

Urban Vegan Kitchen offers organic vegan comfort food, along with cocktails and mocktails in an intimate West Village setting. According to Yelp reviews, their menu is absolutely delicious and the double-decker tacos are to-die-for. They often host dinner parties, listening parties, and musical sessions to enjoy over dinner. Their dinner menu includes a range of fried okra, green curry, macro bowls, rainbow rolls and seitan and gravy. For drinks, try a coconut rum, red wine or a hot apple cider cherry bomb.
Mohawk Bend is a restaurant and bar in Echo Park dedicated to bringing you fresh, locally-sourced food and drinks. They only use fresh California ingredients. You can order sweet potato fries, a southwest vegan burger, vegan pepperoni pizza and if you’re looking for classic pub grub, try a hearts of palm crabcake dish or a cauliflower steak. Try ginger beer, rose, and cucumber vodka cocktails.

What better pairing than pizza and tasty beers? They also offer wines and loads of draft options.
