Three Delicious Vegan Smoothies

If there's one thing vegans know best, it's smoothies! What can I tell you about smoothies that you don't already know. They're fast, easy, nutritious and of course taste amazing!...if you know the right combinations. Here are three smoothies you can enjoy anytime of the day!

If you haven't tried a green smoothie yet, then you are seriously missing out! Greens, as you probably already know, are super healthy for you and when blended up with fruit in smoothie form are absorbed even easier into the body. Maca and chlorella are added for an extra nutritional boost, while chia seeds are added to thicken the smoothie and provide omega 3's. For some reason, coconut water goes really well with greens and helps mask the green taste. It's also high in electrolytes, vitamins/minerals and makes a nice, flavorful base in any smoothie.

Sometimes you want a smoothie that tastes good but is also filling and will sustain you until lunch, that's where protein powder comes into play. Combined with delicious mango and tangy, sweet strawberries, this smoothie kind of reminds me of a Booster Juice except without all the extra sugar.

One of our favorite kinds of ice cream is mint chip! Just the combination of mint and chocolate together in general always gets us excited. This is still a smoothie because technically there is no nut milks or anything in it, but it tastes very much like a milk shake. This can even be enjoyed for breakfast because of its low sugar impact. Mmmm, creamy, dreamy mint chocolate delight!
