U.K. food brand Thai Taste has unveiled a vegan version of its fish sauce.

The new plant-based sauce is made with seaweed, which is naturally packed with iron, calcium, and vitamin C. The new sauce is made with natural ingredients, and won’t contain preservatives or artificial flavors or colors. The vegetarian fish sauce is also gluten-free.


On its website, Thai Taste says that it seeks to create authentic Thai products with all-natural ingredients.

“The majority of our products are gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans,” says the company’s ‘About Us’ page. “We do not artificial colors, flavorings, and do not add MSG.”

The brand’s new plant-based fish sauce will be available for £1.89 for 180ml.
