Recipe: Dreamsicle Smoothie

It’s time to kick off summer and there’s no better way to do it than with a refreshing, frosty treat like this smoothie.  This smoothie is sweet, creamy, and will remind you of your childhood summers filled with too many dreamsicles.  Whether you are headed to a picnic or out to the beach, this smoothie is a must-have.

Dreamsicle Smoothie

Makes one 12-ounce smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen
  • 3 clementines, peeled
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons raw cashews
  • 5 – 7 drops liquid vanilla stevia drops, or to taste

 Preparation:

Blend banana, clementines, almond milk, cashews, and stevia until smooth.  Serve immediately.
