If you are a vegan or vegetarian and are trying to convince friends and family to eat more like you, then be sure to check out this video. The chef says this is a great recipe for introducing your meat-eating pals to plant-based food. She will show you how to make vegan BBQ chicken out of gluten flour. When you are thinking about different recipes to try for your plant-based grilling venture, don’t forget about one of our favorite comfort foods, grilled cheese! In this video, let The Edgy Veg show you how to make a grown-up grilled cheese using oven-roasted carrots. We can all stand to sneak some extra veggies into an indulgent meal like this. One thing that people do not realize about making this dish, she says, is that people do not realize that the bread is just as important as the cheese, and the pan must be hot before you place the sandwich onto it. 5. How to Grill Healthy Foods
In this informative video, Cancer Project dietitian Joseph Gonzales, R.D., and nutrition and cooking instructor Jill Eckart, C.H.H.C. will show you how to grill healthy items. Their beginning statement might surprise you; grilling animal-based products can actually create carcinogens, which can increase cancer risk! To reduce this risk, they choose plant-based items to grill like veggie kebabs, a vegetarian chicken product, veggie burgers and Portabella mushrooms that were marinated in balsamic vinegar.
