15 Extra-Drool-Worthy Vegan Recipes For Peanut Butter Lovers

LIKE OGP ON FACEBOOK :

You might not know it, but if you’re a fan of the ever-adored peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or find yourself reaching for a plant-based peanut butter cup from time to time, then 1895 is actually a very important year for you. Why? Becuase it marks the year that Dr. John Harvey Kellogg patented a process for creating peanut butter from raw peanuts — and to celebrate, the Powers that Be have deemed the entire month of November 1 as Peanut Butter Lovers Month.

We here at One Green Planet have a low-key obsession with the peanutty spread. Not only is peanut butter high in potassium, magnesium, folate, vitamin E, antioxidants, and fiber, but it’s beneficial to heart health, colon cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, gallstones, and diabetes. Peanut butter is also filled with healthy fats and plenty of plant-based fuel.

In order to properly celebrate National Peanut Butter Lovers Month, we’ve put together 15 recipes from the Food Monster App. Eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or all four — we won’t judge.

1. Peanut Butter Banana Cheesecake

Peanut Butter Banana Cheesecake is composed of three awesomely delicious elements. First, a dense cashew-based peanut butter filling rests on a crust of dates and almonds. The finishing touch is a topping of homemade dark chocolate peanut butter cups that are drizzled with even more peanut butter, because you can never have too much.

2. Soft, Chewy, Chunky Peanut Butter Cookies peanut butter cookies

A perfectly soft, chewy cookie with just enough crunch. Try dunking ’em in a glass of non-dairy milk. Or just gobble ’em up by themselves — but really, to truly enjoy these Soft, Chewy, Chunky Peanut Butter Cookies in all their glory, you’re gonna need that non-dairy milk.

3. Easy 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark

Chocolate bark is an irresistible treat that has worked its way from a holiday specialty to a year-round popular product. Before you throw a bag into your shopping cart, take a look at how simple it is to make a batch of your own! This 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Bark is extra rich and indulgent thanks to the added peanut chunks and swirl. It’s quick, easy to make, and requires minimal ingredients. Have we convinced you to give it a go yet?

4. Raw Chocolate Chunk Cheesecake With Peanut Butter and Coconut

Have you ever seen a dessert as rich and indulgent as this one for vegan Raw Chocolate Chunk Cheesecake With Peanut Butter Coconut? Yum!

5. Raw Peanut Butter Stuffed Cookie Dough Bites

These Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bites are to die for. The simple cookie dough is augmented with mini chocolate chips and finished off with a creamy peanut butter center. You won’t be able to stop eating these delightful little bites.

6. Sweet Potato Peanut Butter Brownies

Sweet Potato Peanut Butter Brownies are gluten-free, vegan, and perfect for indulging any chocolate craving. The sweet potato in the brownie base helps keep these brownies as fudgy and gooey as possible.

7.

8. Peanut Butter Cream Pie

Peanut Butter Cream Pie is so yummy. How can you go wrong with the classic combo of peanut butter and chocolate? This recipe is for creamy, peanut butter pie on a chocolate cinnamon crust. It’s sure to have everyone begging for more than one slice.

9. Pop Tart Croissant With Peanut Butter Filling

These Pop Tart Croissants are a wonderful amalgamation of several decadent desserts. Soft, doughy, stuffed with creamy peanut butter, and topped with chocolate frosting and crunchy granola, they’re kind of like doughnuts got together with croissants and a pop tart. So, you can totally get away with eating one for breakfast or brunch just as well as you can have them for dessert.

10. Buckeyes: Peanut Butter Fudge Dipped In Chocolate

Buckeyes are a classic Ohioan dessert named for its resemblance to the nut of the state tree: the Ohio buckeye. It consists of peanut butter fudge dipped in chocolate, leaving some peanut butter visible. This version swaps out the traditional cream used to make fudge with coconut oil. It takes just two steps to make these chocolatey, peanut buttery delights, so they’re easy to whip up for a party or for a quick snack at home.

11. Pretzel Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

This Pretzel Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie has a smooth, creamy peanut butter filling that rests atop a crunchy pretzel crust. This pie is a dream dessert for any peanut butter lover. The filling is light and airy from being blended silken tofu — the perfect contrast to the crumbly, chocolatey, and slightly sweet crust. For presentation, taste, and texture, top this pie with additional pretzels and a handful of chocolate chips.

12. Raw Peanut Butter and Carob Fudge

This Raw Peanut Butter and Carob Fudge has not one, but two layers of deliciousness. First, there’s a perfectly crumbly peanut butter layer and if that’s not enough, there’s also a rich carob layer. It’s also easy to make – all you do is melt, stir, and pop it in the refrigerator to set! It’s both perfectly simple and perfectly delicious.

13. Triple-Layer Peanut Butter Cup Pretzel Krispies Bars

These Triple-Layer Peanut Butter Cup Pretzel Krispies Bars are a triple threat! Crunchy pretzels and crisp rice cereal, creamy peanut butter cup filling, and a rich chocolate glaze combine to make treats that are like decadent little bites of heaven! They look complicated, but they are so easy to make. Everyone will love these so much, you may want to triple the batch!

14. Pumpkin Peanut Butter Truffles

The only way to make peanut butter any better is to add some pumpkin spice. Taking a bite out of these Pumpkin Peanut Butter Truffles is like taking a bite out of the best orange-leaved, scarf-wearing fall day you’ve ever had. With warming cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, rich, creamy peanut butter, cozy maple syrup, and homemade pumpkin-kissed chocolate, these will totally melt in your mouth.
