Beyoncé is Going Vegan for 44 Days, Here’s How You Can Do Even Better

With 44 days left before Beyoncé’s headlining set at Coachella 2018, the singer announced via an Instagram post that she plans to go vegan for a month and a half of clean eating.

“44 days until Coachella!! Vegan Time!!” wrote the superstar in a post featuring a delicately-arranged circular avocado toast.

She then directed followers to 22 Days Nutrition, a vegan meal delivery service that Beyoncé co-owns with entrepeneur Marco Borges.

Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z previously underwent a 22-day challenge of eating only plant-based food. The idea for the 22 days system is that people take 21 days to break a habit, according to Borges.

Beyoncé’s avocado toast post racked up over a million likes on Instagram, while another post about going vegan that featured her dancers gained over three million.

How To Eat Plant-Based Long-Term!

It’s great that Beyonce’s decided to raise awareness about plant-based diets and reap the health benefits of clean eating temporarily. Here’s how you can do even better by planning a healthy, plant-based diet for the long term!

Don\'t promote this b*tch. She\'s not going vegan, just as she didn\'t go vegan several years ago. Remember when she wore animal skins to a vegan restaurant? And on Day 31, she exclaimed how thrilled she was to be able to eat meat again. And fur? Don\'t even get me started.

I haven\'t eaten meat or seafood for 43 years and became vegan almost 20 years ago. If I knew earlier what I learned later I would have become vegan long ago.
