Beetle House located in both New York City and Los Angeles, is a Tim Burton-themed restaurant that celebrates all things spooky and gothic. Their mantra is, “Everyday is Halloween,” and they say it is a space for lovers of horror films and dark music. If that doesn’t already sound awesome, it is about to get even better. Beetle House’s NYC location just recently launched a new vegan menu!
Their new menu is now almost half vegan! On top of serving specialty themed cocktails, like their Alice’s Cup of Tea and delicious sides like mushroom fries and a sautéed vegetable medley, they have now included 4 vegan entrees!
These main course items include a Tofu Pad Thai, a Cheshire Mac and Cheese inspired by the film Alice in Wonderland, a Sweeney Shroom portobello steak influenced by Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and an Edward Vegan Hands veggie burger with vegan cheddar and bacon!
The Sweeney Shroom steak comes topped with a creamy mushroom sauce, roasted peppers, and a garlic mash, while the Cheshire Mac and Cheese is made with vegan Monterey and American cheese, and is topped with breadcrumbs and a stewed tomato reduction. All of their new vegan menu items sound absolutely divine!
