About TrueBody: TrueBody offers a line of all-natural, vegan soaps for everyday use that contain only a few simple, minimally processed ingredients. TrueBody currently produces a facial bar and a body bar, both of which are gluten-free, biodegradable and packaged in 100% recycled card stock. No plastic overwrap is used on the multi-bar packs, both to maximize value and reduce packaging waste. TrueBody’s holistic soaps are completely plant-based and free of animal byproducts, synthetic preservatives and chemicals, and contain no artificial fragrance or coloring.
The One Green Planet Verdict: We sampled TrueBody’s facial bar and body bar. We love that both bars have a short list of totally natural, plant-based ingredients, and that they are unscented. No harsh chemicals or overpowering perfumes here!
Both bars have a very subtle, pleasant scent, and produce plenty of lather. The body bar leaves your skin feeling clean without a hint of dryness. The facial bar is silky-soft and moisturizing, thanks to natural oils and shea butter, and is also a great cleanser.
TrueBody soaps are great products that also happen to be eco-friendly and vegan!

True Body did not disappoint!
I am pleased to say, these True Body bars did not disappoint! I have been traveling around the South (USA) and I feel fresher longer after using these bars.
Face bar: I was surprised at how clean my face felt! After the first use, my skin felt a little tight but, unlike countless other products, this bar never caused my face to dry out and flake. After two more uses, the tight feeling has dissipated. It also removed my mineral makeup without any trouble.
Body bar: Wow! This is a new level of clean! I don't know why I have never felt this clean using any other soap! (A bit of a nasty realization, when you think about it :/) The body bar doesn't dry my body out at all which is a nice change. I have always had dry skin and my son has eczema and neither one of us experience dry, tight skin after bathing with True Body.
Both bars really are scentless, which I actually like, and they come in cardboard boxes with two or more bars per box. No frills, no waste...just real clean. True Body truly is true to it's word.
Product Review: TrueBody Soap
For the facial soap, it was a smooth foamy lather when I rub the soap and water with my hands, sort of like a foamy coconut oil running down on my face . I massaged it on my face where I had makeup on and my face was quite oily during the day. It smelled unscented which does not bother me. It did remove my makeup including eye makeup, unfortunately it stung my eyes completely, which is why I took one star down. I work best at gentle soaps when it comes to cleaning my eye lids (oily). My skin felt very clean, refreshed, oil-free, but a bit dry and flaky on my T-zone, where I have to put some serum/moisturizer afterward.
For the body soap, it does not dry our skin out or make our skin smell funny after shower. So far I have been using it for a week and a day, and it seems that the soap is pretty long-lasting. I would say approximately 2 -2.5 weeks use.
