About Squeaky Green: Squeaky Green Laundry Powder is high efficiency machine compatible, vegan, biodegradable, earth friendly, free of artificial fragrances and dyes, and has no 1,4-dioxane, petrochemicals, formaldehyde, parabens, sulfates, or phosphates.

It works in all water temperatures and on nearly all types of fabric. Squeaky Green Laundry Powder is minimally packaged in 40% recycled (25% post consumer content) brown kraft paper bags. If you remove the label and tin tie at the top, the bag is compostable.

I should have written this review a long long time ago, but I moved before I received my sample and it took a long time to get my package to my new address. So here we are. I finally got to use my new Squeaky Green laundry detergent. I would say that this product is overall, fantastic. It left my clothes smelling fresh, more so than my old chemical-laden detergent. There's a great piece on the back of the packaging that tells you everything it doesn't containg (did y'all know that they put fourmaldehyde in laundry detergents?!). I saw that my clothes came out of the wash perfecty clean. I rubbed a pinch of the detergent onto some really bad stains before I threw them in the wash, and the stains were completely removed. I used this in the scare HE laundromat washers and the machines didn't explode, so huge plus. Great product, keep producing clean green products!

As I added 2 TBS of Squeaky Green to my laundry as directed on the bag; I was skeptical. How could this small amount of soap get my cloths clean? I didn’t realize that the detergent I had previously been using, was full of additive like, frequencies, fillers, detergent, formaldehyde, sulfates to name a few. I found after using Squeaky Green Laundry Soap, the chemicals had been washed away after a few washes and my clothes felt softer and smelled cleaner. I feel comfort in knowing I am not using chemical on my cloths, not damaging the environment and I am saving money.

This laundry powder worked great for me - for both my dirty gym clothes and towels, and my more delicate items as well. Although the detergent is unscented, my clothes felt and smelled so clean coming out of the wash. I especially loved the eco-friendly packaging of a brown paper bag - so simple & pure.

I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish I knew more information about the ingredients it contains, whereas the packaging and website only lists what it doesn't contain. However, If I see this at the grocery store again, I will definitely be picking up some more.

I love this laundry powder! I have been looking for a chemical-free detergent for awhile and I was really impressed by the natural ingredients and how clean it got my clothes! Even though it was unscented, it made everything smell fresh!
